The Hunter

I found you in the Himalayan mountains
At the end of nineteen hours on the go
You were there at 30,000 feet last autumn
But the day my grandma died you didn’t show

I caught you one morning on a tube train
But when I looked around, you we’re gone
You were there the night I was delivered
Although you didn’t stay for very long

There were times when I didn’t want to find you
When there were better things I had to do
But I could never put it off for too long
And soon my thoughts would drift away with you

I’m looking for you even in this moment
But If I try too hard you get away
And every time so far that I have seen you
I have had my eyes closed anyway
